Program 1 Guidelines- Utah Arts Council

These are the guidelines for the Utah Arts Council Stimulus Fund Grant The Utah Arts Council (UAC) stimulus funding applicant eligibility criteria includes: Has receieved funding from the UAC as an arts organization during at least three of the last five years (between 2003-2008) AND sustained job losses as a result of the economy Successfully submitted all required final reports for the three years funded Currently employs at least one full- or part- time position The position to be funded was in existence and filled prior to July 1, 2008 (Beginning of state fiscal year 2009) The annual operating budget is at least $100,000 The UAC will use the review criteria the NEA has outlined for its competitive salary support grants including the quality of the organization’s plan to sustain the position(s) for which salary support is requested. The UAC plans to use this opportunity to promote sustainable, secure employment in the Utah arts sector, to demonstrate the impact of this national investment in arts-related employment.
